Firefox Features #5 and #6

#5. Firefox is open-source, free, and has plenty of free plug-ins. Where to begin? With live Bookmarks you can view RSS feeds directly from your bookmarks(favorites), without needing a separate reader. You can add themes to the toolbar, have the weather forecast displayed on your status bar, and choose from a whole range of Firefox plug-ins. You'll find them all on our useful links page. 

#6.  Full Integration With The Google Toolbar. This is the clincher-turbo charge your browser with Google!The Google toolbar has some outstanding features that will save you time and keep you one step ahead of the competition. Have a look at the screenshot below and you'll see why. There are 3 horizontal arrows on the left. The top arrow points to the Fire fox toolbar(very similar to Internet Explorers').The middle arrow shows your bookmarks(favorites). The bottom arrow is the Google Toolbar.  

 Each of the numbered vertical arrow indicates selected features of the Google toolbar:

1. Google builds its own search box into its toolbar. You can then use the Fire fox search box(top right corner) for something else (in this case, eBay).

2. Spellcheck is great when you're filling out forms or chatting away on your favourite forum. It can check for, and even correct, your typos. 

3. Say you've found the web page with the street address for a new ski resort or restaurant you want to try out but there's no map. Click on autolink and a google map showing you the exact location will pop up like magic! (US only).

4. This is my favorite.  AutoFill can automatically fill out forms on the web with your address, telephone, email etc and credit card information, too, if you want. All with the press of a button! You'll never have to type your street address and email  in again!

5. Open a new tab up instantly without having to go the <File> menu button.

The  Google Toolbar has many more features, ALL of which can be customized to save you time, & time is money.
