Firefox-Get More out of Craigslist with the Free Firefox Browser With Google Toolbar!

Cragislist is a great online community. But did you know that the free Firefox browser has some great features that can help you get more out of Craigslist? Read on to learn about just two features that will help you get  a lot more out of  Craigslist!  

 

FIREFOX FEATURES FOR CRAIGS LIST

Tabbed Browsing! This feature alone makes Firefox my top choice. Say you are looking to rent an apartment and do a search on Craigslist. Your Firefox browser window will look like any other browser window, maybe something like the one below. Now, say you'd like to look at the three listings marked by orange arrows(scroll down to view.)

Hold down the <ctrl> key down and left-click with your mouse on each of the three listings above.  What this does, unlike other browsers, is open new tabs so that you can switch between and compare listings all in the same browser window! The first tab is the Craigslist results page as shown in the screenshot above. If we click on the third tab, as shown on the screenshot below, you can view that specific listing in the browser window. Notice that each of the other listings we wanted to look at, each have their own tab. You can go back and forth between tabs to compare information.  You can open up more tabs to see other listings, or close the ones you don't need. The possibilities are endless! You can also do this to view several websites in the same browser window(see feature #1).

Bookmarks! Lets say none of the apartments you searched for were available.
